The corps system will not be returning to the next iteration of Dreamcraft in any official capacity, it is true, and we are aware this can disappoint some people! That being said, groups of players are more than welcome to create their own corps like entities within the game so long as everything is within the rules - player co-operation like this is something we would love to see!
We cannot, unfortunately, offer any perks for being in a particular corp, because keeping the balance of play for all of our players is really important, and some of our playerbase would have a hard time realizing they were locked out of some features in exchange for others.
Jess has said staff will build spawn, which is correct - at first. an initial spawn will be constructed for the next map, when it happens, which will hopefully get replaced by a chosen player design, or a design based upon a players design changed to suit our specific needs. Hence I can say, more information upon the upcoming spawn design contest will be released closer to the time.
