Hello there.
So I recently have changed my username from Icee2199 to Imperial Knight (as you may have notcied) on almost everything, which includes Minecraft.
I went to connect to the server and it disallowed my connection saying name changes weren't supported and such.
Could this possibly be fixed? I'd rather stick with my new username as this is what I have everywhere else and I really don't like my old username.

Unfortunately DreamCraft does not support name changing, so you will have to wait the 30 days before logging in... Which sucks royally, I know but is unfixable... My condolences.

Why is this unsupported?
Can name changes not be allowed? When banning it simply bans their UDID so I'm unsure why this is unsupported.

I'm in the same Boat with ya. i wanted to change my Username, but because of a file issue, some of our plugins don't understand UUIDs, only Usernames, so when you login with a Different Username, some plugins create a new tag with that new username, and some plugins try and associate your UUID with the new username, and some plugins try and do both, and get REALLY confused because there are 2 usernames on a UUID, which makes the "unique" part of a UUID pointless, so the plugin freaks out. TL;DR some plugins don't understand username changes. you CAN change your name, but only if you haven't logged on to the server before. (next map, if you change before logging in, you should be kosher.)

We've put in a good bit of effort looking into the issue, but it seems like the fix would be drastic, like removing everyone's inventories/mcmmo levels/stats/etc. When we get the chance, or if it becomes a simple fix, then we will switch. Sorry :[

I know that this is a very big issue for most servers. Luckily, I changed my name before I was introduced to DC.
