Minor City Suggestion

It would be nice if cities in their public storage area had an unlocked ender chest. ( /cremove and then slap a sign on to protected it from removal/destruction) Then visiting people were not limited to their inventory for moving stuff around. Having one in spawn would be handy as well for those trips to market or shifting odd stuff to the community chests for new players. I often get enchanted wooden swords of all generally useless things.

IT HAS BEEN A WHILE.
Many of you may not remember me, a few of you may vaguely recognize my name but I used to play way, way, long ago - we are talking like 3 years, maybe 4/5 years ago.
This was back when there was Draconia, and paths north, east, south, west to varying cities - think I was an expert at one point as well.

But essentially I need a lil help from the wonderful players of Dreamcraft. I've been very quite/missing because I've been at uni for the last 3 years - and I'm currently conducting a study on gamers and age. I'm looking at whether or not older gamers feel they have prejudice against them, and if this is merely perceived or exists in some forms. It's proving to be really interesting, but I could do with having more responses - especially from older players (28+) but also a response from anyone would be wonderful.

I know it may seem a bit uncool to pop up out of nowhere and ask for help, but my memories of Dreamcraft are fond - and that the people here are accepting and genuine. So it would be mad cool to see what you guys have to say

Hello Dreamcraftians!

It was not an easy decision for me, but I've decided to leave Dreamcraft. Ozbar11 will continue as Admin and will be a solid leader for DC and its staff and members.

Thanks all of you for an awesome journey. Everyone, from when I first logged into Dreamcraft in November 2010 to now, has made my experience with dreamcraft special. The good, the bad, and the rollercoaster of emotions over the years have given me a great chance to be part of a community that felt very much so like a family. I never thought I was going to be granted an admin position, but here we are.

I appreciate the chance I was given to volunteer with this staff and work as an admin. My work here actually helped me land a nice job and I’ve been very happy with it. I’ll always remember my time with my Dreamcraft family. Remember to stay happy and be good to each other, life's too short to focus on the bad stuff.

Next time I’ll show up as a player Take care everyone, and again, thank you.

Suggestions for house!

Hey everyone!

I've recently been constructing my house in the side of a mountain in Highcroft and I need some help with designing! Well, mostly ideas. The theme of my house is 'Ancient', so like Ancient Greece, Ancient Rome type thing.

I need some ideas of something to put in a big room which I've created. I've already placed two custom built fountains but I need something to fill in the rest of the space! My floor theme as you can see is gravel around the edges and grass blocks filling the rest out. The grass blocks contain mushrooms and what not. I will be placing leaves around the place and vines on the wall. I will also be placing stone brick arches etc. throughout the room also.

If you've got any ideas for this I could put in the room that fit my theme that would be great if you could suggest!

Also, if anyone could suggest other ways to light up the rooms other than torches that would be great!

HAI! I just wanted to ask if I could record DreamCraft for my YouTube channel, I have been thinking about this for a longgggg time now. Yet, I don't know if you all would be comfortable if you guys are recorded? I feel like DreamCraft is an AMAZING server, and I want to let all my subbubles know about it, and I really do enjoy playing DreamCraft. I know I recorded on DreamCraft for the fourth of July, but I wanted to record as a series. If some aren't comfortable with this, I won't do it. Thanks! <3

I've been playing for a week on the new server and uh.. I decided to make my account more secure, like an idiot. -.-

I changed my name and didn't realize the "name change not supported" wasn't about a mod, it was about the Mojang name change, soooo, I can't change my name back for 30 days now. Is there any possible way my "Baki_The_Fox" ingame file can be deleted so I can resume playing? I'd much appreciate it!

Wait, on second thought. Will that delete my ingame stats? I'm the number one rank in power level with 750 fishing and 1000 repair. I don't wanna lose that. I spent a month and a half just grinding for that. T_T

I'll be out of town, so if my shop goes dry be patient I'll restock asap. Also if your a resident of nordhaven try to keep the peace, don't let the new people grief. Also for God's sake read the dang pvp rules if you participate, we've only had it a few days and if it's gone when I return someone's getting an eviction notice.

Three years of DreamCraft

July 16 marked my third year on DreamCraft. 6 days and three years ago, I joined a Skype call with Darkathenes and Trogdortro. They were playing on a public server named DreamCraft. I thought to myself, "A public server? Those huge crowded servers with massive spawns and spam-filled chats? I don't know if I want to play on one of those.." However, since these were and have been my close friends for a long time, I decided to give it a try. I went to the forums and created an account, then spent 10+ minutes trying my best to create a whitelist request with the proper format. I wish I could remember which staff member accepted me, but alas that is lost to history. I created a city with Darka and Trog, originally named Stonewall but later renamed to The Fiefdom of Wyntertide, and over the course of the map it gained prestige as a Tier 4 City. I also can't forget to mention the massive mob apocalypse event at the DC5 spawn near the end of the map. DC6 rolled around and Trog was no longer a regular MC player, but Darka and I founded another city by the name of New Venice, many good times were had and the rest is history. In 2014 I became part of the DC staff and continue to hop on from time to time, so if you see me in-game, say hi

These three years on DreamCraft have been great, thanks to everyone for making it so much fun.

I will be selling enchantments! You can buy books for me to put on your weapons or armor, or you can just buy the book.

If you want me to put the enchantment on an item, you will have to supply the item.

I sell all vanilla enchantments, this means no fortune 5 books like you'll find on emerald tools.

Now you may be wondering: "Dark? Why should I buy from you when I can get better enchantments on emerald tools?"

Well I'm glad you asked!

Emerald tools only come with one enchantment, and when you have a really powerful enchantment on an item, it costs a lot more xp to put any more enchantments on. And it could even get too expensive!

So thats where I come in. Your humble enchanter at your service to create powerful weapons and armor for all.

Pricing:

Heres how my pricing works: I don't charge more for different enchantments, I charge differently for different enchantment levels

For enchantments that range from I-II:

Each level costs 50 rem (100 rem for level II)

Knockback

Fire Aspect

Punch

For enchantments that range from I-III:

Each level costs 100 rem (300 rem for level III)

Respiration

Thorns

Depth Strider

Looting

Unbreaking

Fortune

Luck of the Sea

Lure

For enchantments that range from I-IV:

Each level costs 150 rem (600 rem for level IV)

Protection

Fire Protection

Blast Protection

I offered to trade 32 emeralds for 1 stack of iron blocks in chat. Havog accepted the deal and told me to give him time to get the iron, so i did. I specifically said make sure its iron blocks not iron ingots multiple times. After awhile he msged me and so we went to go trade. I dropped my emeralds for him, then he dropped 1 stack of iron ingots.... i said blocks, not ingots! I tried telling him that and he kept saying that i said iron ingots. WHO WOULD TRADE 32 EMERALDS FOR 1 STACK OF IRON INGOTS?!?!?!! thats so stupid! I threw back the iron and told him to give me my emeralds back, and he refused. He then left with the iron and the emeralds.. I tried telling Darkstar1592 about the problem, and he talked to Havog. He told me i should try to compromise with him. How do u compromise with someone who scammed u?? He took everything and i got nothing. I believe he should give me my emeralds back. Currently Darkstar is doing all he can to help me but so far i dont have my emeralds back and this is wrong! Havog should be punished somehow for scamming me as well as return my emeralds >

I found this while lazily scrolling through reddit, thought you all would enjoy it. There are a couple interesting exclusions(i.e. water/lava doesn't seem to be attached to buckets for some reason) but it's pretty wild thinking how connected everything is.

Seriously though...I'm looking for a new texture pack to play with. I've played with all of the big name texture packs (Misa's, Dokucraft, allofthemostdownloadedtextuerpacksonminecraftforum.jpg) and I,ve grown quite bored of them. None of the ones that I look at really call out to me so I would like to know what you guys suggest .

P.S. Im not looking for any particular style.
