I'd like to revitalize the good ol' DC mega project.
I present to you

Laputa

Details

Location:
Y=-1615,X=3030, or just look for the giant circle on the Dynamap.

Specs:
The total Diameter of the outer ring is 200m.

the final height of the Castle will be around 150m from the bottom of the dome.
to the top of the tree.

It will includeSadWIP)
at least 2 parkour courses.
an Elytra course.  
A city.
A Fully functional public farm system.
and possibly a dungeon to find the heart of Laputa itself.

Frankly I don't think I can do it alone.

This is a massive project, and any amount of help would be appreciated Big Grin

What I need help with:
       Resources:

            I need a looooooooooooooooooooot of stone. Id be willing to trade.
            I need a lot of Granite, maybe 10 double chests.
            I need 5-6 double chests of Andesite.
            I need 2-3 double chests of Blue Hardened clay (I will accept non-colored hardened clay.)
            Glowstone or Glowstone dust would be appreciated.
            Glass would also be helpful.
Any amount of help would be appreciated. PM or post in the thread if you wish to trade.

If you want to help build. or have a design or idea you wish to see implemented....
PM me or post in the thread and we can discuss ideas.

I am now in the process of dragging the ideas from the recesses of my mind and showing them to the world in all their glory.

General idea: 
200x200 palace area, with above-ground city amenities
Subterranean, dwarf-like underground for city residents. 

As far as underground goes, you can think of ornamented pillars, wide open, deep underground areas, and a lot of splendor. Think 'no expense spared'.

This project will likely take quite a long time to build, due to its sheer size, as well as the used materials. Once the total material list is published, you can expect certain materials to take a sharp spike in prices.


Since I am getting more and more excited the more I am envisioning it, here's a sneak peek at my masterwork Big Grin

As well, there are two beacons to help you out with the following effects: Regen I, Resistance I, and Strength II

The easiest way to get there is to exit the spawn castle, then head straight north about 300m until you come to a large flat cobblestone square that covers the ground. On the north end there is a ladder that lets you climb down into the mob arena.

I would highly recommend bringing night-vision potions, as the arena is almost completely dark. As a side note, please do not place torches, as this prevents mobs from spawning in the lit up areas. If you need night-vision potions, I can sell you some if I see you in game, otherwise, all the ingredients should be available at the player shops.
